THE LAWRENCE PROJECT

Story-driven dances* based on the HOTEL TV album by Lawrence the band. These pieces are featured in the order of the album’s tracks. They were each created with specific goals/intentions behind the movement to affect the audience’s immersion:
Dance-Theater (01 - “Don’t Lose Sight” & 06 - “Figure It Out”);
Music Video (02 - “Hotel TV” & 04 - “The Weather”); and
Commercial/Tour (03 - “Freckles” & 05 - “False Alarms”).

MAGGIE ROGERS SUITE

A three-part series of solos based on the Don’t Forget Me album by Maggie Rogers. Each piece had the goal of physicalizing the lyrics and intention of embodying the storyline as a dance diary/journal entry.
